[EXCLUSIVE INDIAN PREMIERE] INQUISITION- Vortex From the Celestial Flying Throne of Storms

Inquisition have been an important face in the Black Metal scenario over the years. The duo Dagon and Incubus have sustained through all odds and have remained as the prime force of the band for two decades. The band is all set to release the new album titled, Bloodshed Across The Empyrean Altar Beyond The Celestial Zenith via Season Of Mist on August 26th, 2016.

I new album cover

Today we are premiering the single titled- Vortex From the Celestial Flying Throne of Storms, taken from the album. Melancholic riffs which make way for fast tremolo picking that is old fashioned with melodies often noted in a typical Inquisition track. The dark atmosphere that is created with sudden tempo changes stands out. Its fascinating to see how the band aims to keep the Black Metal flag high. The vocals are definitely remarkable and Dagon‘s signature shrieks are well executed in this one. Often reminding me of the late Per Yngve Ohlin from Mayhem. The drums are quite interesting. The drum pattern is variant and the blast beats are well illustrious producing a rather aggressive yet melodic output. The production is outstanding. Everything is well and crystal clear.
