REVIEW: TORCHIA- Ending Beginning EP

So one fine evening, I am sitting in veranda, browsing through my mail. I came across this press pack of Torchia. And oh man! I totally loved man. The basic foundation of promoting any band on a national/global platform is to design a perfect press pack.

Torchia is a five member death metal band with a pinch of groove and power metal in their compositions. Hailing from Tampere, Finland, the band debuted with their EP titled as “oNe” in 2013, now they are back with their new EP “Ending Beginning” with a new addition to their lineup.

Ending Beginning” consists of three tracks namely “My land shall burn” and “They haunt behind us” along with the self-titled track. Riffs are quite commendable. Every next loop has different riff pattern along with few melodies and harmonies flying in and out. Perfectly timed sweep solos as fillers make it altogether more melodic. Breaking the stereotype, the band has acoustic fills without compromising on the transaction or genre.

This band certainly did their homework from their last EP. Production and mixing is top notch. The beefy tone of guitars gets your head banging instantly. Not to forget, this band aces at stage performances. Wouldn’t be surprised if this band makes it big couple of the years down the line.
